Services - design and integration

Dotsec has provided security architecture and secure application
design and integration services for a range of customers in the
federal, state and local government sectors, as well as in the
online-gaming, banking, legal, education and petrochemical industries:
-
Available and secure services. DotSec has experience in deploying and maintaining
redundant and secure services on the Internet. Examples include secure reverse-proxy servers, and
the Queensland Department of Health's Clinician's Knowledge Network.
-
Security architecture and design. DotSec professionals are
experienced in security architecture and design, particularly
where n-tier and cross-platform security services must support
online service delivery for both the Intranet and the Internet.
-
Security services development and integration. DotSec
professionals have designed and implemented n-tier security
services for government, finance and education sectors. Java and
J2EE, Single Sign On (SSO), smartcard integration, secure
directory services, PKI and Kerberos all feature in our project
history.
-
Managed security services. DotSec's security engineers support
the maintenance and administration of our client's services, at a
range of remote sites. Traffic analysis, automated monitoring, alerting and alarming, patching and
maintenance, change management and customer notification are all
features of our managed security service.
Holistic design and integration
DotSec works with you to ensure that your security solution is
holistic, rather than product-centric. Maximise the investment you
have made on your existing infrastructure, and progress towards
a managed, integrated cross-platform security solution.
Real experience!
DotSec recently completed the design and deployment of the Queensland Department of Health's
Clinician's Knowledge Network. The CKN is deployed on a cluster of redundant, virtual servers, and relies upon a SAML/Shibboleth-based Identity Management (IM) framework.
Integrate now!
The secure integration of heterogeneous Windows, Linux and
Solaris environments is practical and cost-effective.
DotSec has delivered
integrated security solutions in organisations that use Windows
on the desktop, Unix/Linux for core services, and web services
for remote users.
Even with such a diverse range of platforms, DotSec can deliver
integrated Single Sign-On (with options for smart card or other
token support), directory-based authorisation and identity
management.
DotSec continues work on a range of projects associated with
web services and WSS. For example, DotSec has
recently completed a vulnerability assessment of a major WS
deployment, and has also recently presented an audit of a range
of WSS implementations.
