We're off to the show!

DotSec is proud to be a silver sponsor of this year's AusCERT conference. We will be located at stand S11; just follow the map and look for the spider under the stairs!

DotSec will be delivering a presentation at AusCERT08, entitled, "SAML2: Privacy and security". The presentation will demonstrate the inaccuracy of the commonly-held belief that privacy must be sacrificed on the alter of strong security.

As part of the presentation, we will describe how organizations can use SAML2 enhance the functionality and security of web-based services, while still supporting their privacy requirements.

We show (using a live demo!) how organisations may provide access to controlled resources without directly sharing confidential information, and deliver other features like Web Single Sign-on as well!

WARNING: Sales-free zone! SAML2 is a vendor-neutral OASIS specification. No products or product-vendors (including DotSec) will be marketted or even mentioned during this presentation."

We are still working on the slides for the presentation, but we will make them available here when they are done. And of course, we would like to see you at the presentation, which will be in the Purple Room on Tuesday, at 4:10pm.
